General. DataCite is a leading global non-profit organisation that provides persistent identifiers (DOIs) for research data. As a member of DataCite, SND is able to provide a DOI prefix to Swedish authorities and institutions that work with preserving and making research data accessible. The vast majority of DataCite Members are also Providers of DataCite DOI services, acting as DOI allocating agents. Those Members who are not Providers are known as Non-Allocating Members. Membership fees support DataCite’s goal of making all research outputs a critical component of the research landscape. Annual Membership Fee: 2000 euros This fee applies to Member-only organizations, non-profit and for-profit Direct Members, and to a Consortium as a whole. Members pay an annual membership fee and applicable service fees based on their use of DataCite services (determined from the previous year DOI registration). This remains unchanged from our existing model.
